Mabel was nineteen and I was sure it was too much for her. They took out the high shelf, put a low tray in and rang me on the second day to say she was eating. It was the first holiday we had taken without worrying.
Ours are brothers and they fight all day and then sleep on top of each other. They told us the truth about which one had been eating the other’s dinner. Separate bowls ever since.
I do not drive. Gethin came to my flat with a carrier and sat on the floor with the cat for ten minutes before he tried to put her in. He has done it six times now. She rubs against his boots.

Cat was very well cared for and the daily picture was lovely. It is a long way down the farm lane, though, and the drop-off hours are short if you have a morning flight. We ended up paying for the collection.
About the four stars
Sarah has a point about the hours.
We keep them short, because the rounds come first and the cats are quieter when the yard is. But a 7am flight should not cost you £24. So if your first stay involves an early flight, ring us and Menna will take your cat the evening before, at no extra charge for the first night’s arrival.
