One invoice a month, 5% off the fixed fares, a reference on every job, for businesses and institutions

Account customers

An account for businesses, surgeries, care homes, schools, the university and the council: book by phone, app or email against the account, a reference and a cost centre on every journey, one itemised invoice on the first of the month with 5% off the fixed fares, and a named person at the office who knows your routes.

About forty businesses and institutions in the borough book with us on account: a care home moving residents to appointments, a surgery sending patients to the Royal Glamorgan, a solicitor's office that puts clients in a car to court, the university, two schools, a brewery that gets its staff home after the Friday shift. They book the same way as everyone else and pay once a month.

An account is opened with a form and a conversation about how you want the invoice laid out: by department, by cost centre, by the name of the person who booked, or by the passenger. Every journey then carries a reference the booker gives us, and the invoice on the first of the month lists each one with the date, the time, the pick-up, the destination, the reference and the fare, as a PDF and as a spreadsheet for the person who has to key it in. 30 days to pay by transfer.

Account fares are the fixed fares on this website less 5%, with the same waiting rules and the same night uplift. Bookers can ring, email, or use the app with an account login that lets several people in an office book and the finance person see everything. Regular routes (the Tuesday dialysis round, the Friday shift run) are set up once and run by the same driver, and the office rings if one of them has to change.

A named person at the office, in office hours, handles account queries: a disputed waiting charge, a missed reference, a new cost centre, a journey that needs a receipt for a client. We answer the same day. Accounts that go quiet are not charged for being quiet, and the care homes who have been with us since 2006 still ring the office rather than the app, which is fine.

Questions about accounts

How small is too small for an account?

If you book three times a month it is worth it, mainly for the invoice. There is no fee and no minimum, only a conversation about how you want it laid out.

Can staff book for themselves against the account?

Yes, with their own login on the app, and the finance person sees every booking as it is made. Limits by person or by time of day can be set.

Ring for a car now, or book a fixed time for the airport.

Cars on the road twenty-four hours a day from the office on Gelliwastad Road, with the fare fixed before you get in. Ring 01443 496 0700 any hour, or book here for a set time, an airport run, an eight-seater or the ramp car and the office confirms within the hour in the day.
