Bridal

Three fittings, counted back from the day.

Your dress fitted by Ana in the private bridal room: a first fitting about eight weeks before, a second at four, the final ten days before, and collection three days before. Put in your wedding date and the dates come out.

Pressed, steamed and bagged, ready to collect, or delivered in Penarth and Cardiff for £20.

Bridal prices

From £40 a bridesmaid to a bride in lace.

The bridal room

A raised step, a three-way mirror and a door that closes.

Bring the shoes and the underwear you will wear on the day, and one person whose opinion you trust. Ana pins, you look, and nothing is cut until you are happy. Dresses wait in covers on their own locked rail, insured while they are with us, and go home pressed, steamed and bagged.

Questions brides ask

When should I book my first fitting?

About eight weeks before the wedding, and book it as soon as you have the dress. The bridal page works out the three fitting dates from your wedding date.

Can you alter a dress I bought online?

Yes. We will tell you honestly at the first fitting what it can become; some cheap dresses have no seam allowance to let out, and we would rather say so than charge you for disappointment.

Can you make a dress from scratch?

Not wedding dresses: we fit and alter. Gareth makes suits and Ana can recommend two Cardiff dressmakers we trust.

Got the dress? Book the first fitting.

The first fitting is about eight weeks before the wedding, and in May, June and September the bridal diary fills months ahead. Book as soon as the dress is in your hands, and bring it with you.
