Aftercare and the guarantee
Every bathroom we fit is guaranteed for five years on our workmanship, in writing, with the products under their makers' guarantees. At twelve months we come back, check every joint and reseal anything that has moved.
A new house moves for a year, and so does a new bathroom: timber floors settle, walls dry out, and the silicone joint at the back of a bath is the first thing to show it. So we come back at twelve months without being asked, check every joint, the valves, the waste and the fan, and reseal anything that has opened.
The guarantee covers our workmanship for five years: leaks from anything we connected, tiles that come loose, grout that cracks, tanking that fails. Products are covered by their makers, and we deal with the maker for you if a valve or a tap fails in its guarantee, so you are not on hold to a call centre. You get the guarantee in writing with the product manuals and the electrical certificate in a folder on the day we finish.
If something goes wrong, ring Siân. A leak gets someone the same day; anything else within the week. For bathrooms we did not fit, we do repairs and reseals by the day, and we will tell you honestly whether a leaking shower can be repaired or needs the wall opening.

What it costs
Included in every bathroom we fit: five years on our workmanship, a free check and reseal at twelve months. Repairs to bathrooms we did not fit by the day. Including VAT, supply, fit, the strip-out and the electrical certificate. The estimator adds full tiling and extras and shows the current lead time.
Questions about aftercare and guarantee
What is not covered?
Damage, blocked wastes from hair and wipes, and silicone that has gone mouldy from a room with no ventilation (which is why we fit a fan that clears the room). Everything we fitted or connected, is.
Does the guarantee pass to a buyer?
Yes: it goes with the house for the rest of the five years. Give the buyer the folder.
Do you repair bathrooms you did not fit?
Yes, by the day: leaks, reseals, loose tiles, failed valves. If it needs more than a repair, we will say so and why.
