The programme said ten days and it was eleven, because they found a rotten joist under the bath, showed us, priced it and fixed it before the floor went down. The toilet worked every night. Siân rang the evening before every day that changed. It is the nicest room in the house.

My mother's wet room was funded by the grant. Siân explained every stage, waited for the council's approval without pushing us, and Mark fitted the rails where the occupational therapist had marked them, to the centimetre. Mam can shower on her own again.
An en-suite in the loft conversion, fitted inside the builder's programme without holding him up once. The design visit found that gravity would work if the shower went at the high end, so no pump. Worth the £95 just for that.
Bath out, walk-in shower in, four days exactly. They matched the new tiles to the old ones near enough that you would have to know. The price list said from £3,900 and the quote after the design visit was £4,300.
A beautiful Victorian bathroom and the workmanship is faultless. Four stars because the freestanding bath arrived from the supplier with a chip and the replacement took nineteen days, which pushed the finish back nearly three weeks. Not their fault, but it was their supplier; they now check every bath in the warehouse before it comes out.
Only wanted a better shower and they did not try to sell me a bathroom. Thermostatic shower off the combi, a screen instead of a curtain, the shower end retiled. Three days, and the twelve-month reseal visit came without me asking.
About the four stars
Peter's bath arrived chipped. We now look at every bath before it leaves the warehouse.
The freestanding bath for the Marine Parade bathroom came from the supplier with a chip on the rim, and the replacement took nineteen days, which held up the floor tiles and the finish by nearly three weeks. It was the supplier's damage and our programme, so it was our problem. Since then Mark collects every bath, basin and tray from the warehouse himself the week before a fit, unwraps it there and checks it, so a damaged piece is replaced before your bathroom is stripped out, not after.
