£79 a month: a weekly plan, a check-in every Sunday and a video call a month, for people who are not in Cardiff or not in the park

Online coaching

For the people who moved away, the shift workers, and the ones who want the plan and the accountability without the lawn: a plan for the week every Sunday night, written for the kit and the time you actually have, a check-in message every Sunday, a half-hour video call once a month, and form checks from the videos you send. £79 a month, no contract.

Online coaching is what happens when a client moves to Bristol and does not want to start again with someone else. It is not an app and not a generic programme: it is Gethin or Hanna writing your week on Sunday night for the kit you have (a kettlebell, a park, a hotel gym, nothing), a message every Sunday asking how it went, and a call a month to change what needs changing.

The first call is the free session done over video: what you have, what you want, how you move (you film three simple movements and send them), and the measure. Then every Sunday evening the week's plan arrives as a one-page document: the sessions, the walks or runs, the thing to do on the sofa, and the paces or weights. You tick it off and send a line back on Sunday; we send a line back on Monday.

Form checks are by video any time: film the set, send it, get it back marked up within the day. The monthly call is half an hour on video and is where the plan changes. £79 a month covers all of it with no contract; it is half price for the first month for anyone who has trained with us in the park, because we already know how they move.

Questions about online

I have no equipment at all.

Then the plan uses none: bodyweight, a chair, the stairs, a rucksack with books in it. A single kettlebell is the best £30 you will spend, and we will tell you which one.

How is this different from an app?

A person writes it, a person reads your reply, and a person watches your videos. The app does not notice when you stop.

The first session is free. Come and stand by the lake.

Tell us what you are after and roughly when you can train, and we reply within the hour between sessions with a time for a free first session: a walk round the lake, a look at how you move, and an honest answer about what it will take. Or just turn up to a bootcamp, the first one is free too.
