Six mornings and two evenings a week, twelve people at most, £12 a session or £59 a month unlimited
Bootcamps
Forty-five minutes on the lawns by the lake at 6:30 or 7:30 every morning but Sunday, and 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday: a circuit of strength and conditioning scaled to three levels in the same session, twelve people at most, the same faces most weeks, and the month's programme published on the first. Drop in for £12 or come as often as you like for £59 a month.

A bootcamp here is not a man shouting at you in a car park. It is twelve people at most on the grass by the lake, a circuit of six to eight stations that each have an easier and a harder version, a trainer walking the circuit correcting and encouraging, and a group that has been coming long enough to cheer new people on. Most people come three times a week; the keen ones come six.
Every session has the same shape: a warm-up jog or walk along the promenade, a strength block (kettlebell squats and swings, press-ups to a bench or the floor, rows on the bands), a conditioning block (the ropes, sled pushes on the grass, shuttles, the steps by the lighthouse), and a stretch by the water. Each station is shown at three levels and you pick yours; the trainer will suggest the next level up when you are ready and never before.
The month's programme is published on the first, so you know what Monday is, and we track your numbers if you want them tracked. Twelve people at most, booked by text or the booking page the night before. £12 a session to try it, ten for £90 if you like it, or £59 a month for as many as you like, which pays for itself at five. The first one is free. Bring water, trainers you do not mind getting wet, and layers.

Questions about bootcamps
Do I have to book?
Yes, by text or the booking page, by 9pm the night before, so we know the numbers and can cap at twelve. Cancel by 9pm too and the session is credited.
Is it too hard for a beginner?
No, because every station has a beginner version and nobody is timed against anyone else. The first one is free so you can find out.
The first session is free. Come and stand by the lake.
Tell us what you are after and roughly when you can train, and we reply within the hour between sessions with a time for a free first session: a walk round the lake, a look at how you move, and an honest answer about what it will take. Or just turn up to a bootcamp, the first one is free too.
