What people wanted, and what happened.

No before-and-after photographs, no "lost three stone in six weeks". Six people, what they actually asked for at the free session, where they were, where they got to, and how long it honestly took. All six said we could tell you.

How we measure

The scales are optional. The thing you asked for is not.

One measure, agreed

At the free session we agree the thing that would tell you it was working: the stairs, the 5k time, the kettlebell you can carry, the blood pressure reading, the dog walk. Written on the plan.

Checked at six and twelve weeks

The same test, the same place, the same conditions, with the number next to the first one. If it has not moved, the plan changes, not the measure.

Strength numbers if you want them

Bootcampers can track their kettlebell weights, press-up counts and the lighthouse steps time on the group sheet. Nobody has to and nobody else sees it unless you want them to.

Honest timelines

Most changes that last take three months to feel and six to show. We will tell you that at the first session rather than sell you six weeks, and we will tell you when the job is done.

The first session is free. Come and stand by the lake.

Tell us what you are after and roughly when you can train, and we reply within the hour between sessions with a time for a free first session: a walk round the lake, a look at how you move, and an honest answer about what it will take. Or just turn up to a bootcamp, the first one is free too.
