£45 an hour, ten for £400, by the lake, with a twelve-week plan on paper
One-to-one in the park
An hour with Gethin or Hanna in Roath Park, built round you: a free first session to find out what you can do and what you want, a twelve-week plan written down, kettlebells, bodyweight, the hills and the lake path, and the other days of the week planned too. For the people who want a person rather than a programme.

One-to-one outdoors is the best training there is for most people and the thing we started with: no gym to be self-conscious in, no waiting for kit, an hour of someone watching how you move and changing the next thing accordingly. We bring the kettlebells, the ropes, the mats and the bands in the car; you bring trainers and a jacket.
The free first session is forty-five minutes: a walk and talk round the lake, a few simple movements to see how your knees, hips, back and shoulders are, the thing you actually want (the stairs, the 5k, the garden, the wedding, the knee), and an honest answer about what it will take. If we carry on, the twelve-week plan arrives within two days on paper: what we do in the sessions, what you do on the other days, and the measure we check at six weeks and twelve.
Sessions are an hour by the promenade lawns in good weather and under the big trees by the conservatory in bad; the hills behind the lake are there for anyone who wants them and nobody who does not. Strength with kettlebells and bodyweight, conditioning with the ropes and the path, mobility at the end, and a note in your plan afterwards. Pairs train for £60 an hour, which is the way most couples and friends do it; a 45-minute session is £35 for people whose mornings are tight.

Questions about one-to-one
I have not exercised for twenty years. Is this for me?
Yes. About half our one-to-one clients say exactly that at the free session. We start where you are, which may be a walk round the lake and ten squats to a bench, and nobody else is watching.
What if it rains?
We train under the trees by the conservatory, where it is mostly dry, and you will be surprised how little it matters once you are moving. Lightning or ice cancels, by text, and the session is credited.
The first session is free. Come and stand by the lake.
Tell us what you are after and roughly when you can train, and we reply within the hour between sessions with a time for a free first session: a walk round the lake, a look at how you move, and an honest answer about what it will take. Or just turn up to a bootcamp, the first one is free too.
