The engineers

People who know where it runs.

Rhodri, Siân and three more engineers on a rota that keeps someone on call every night of the year. All employed, all DBS checked.

The people

Rhodri Bevan, a drainage engineer in his fifties with a shaved head and grey beard, in a navy jacket with hi-vis shoulders

Founder and engineer

Rhodri Bevan

Rhodri worked on Swansea's sewers for the water company for fifteen years before starting FlowRight from a van in 2010. He knows which streets in the Uplands have clay pipes from the 1890s, which estates in Fforestfach were built over old culverts, and exactly where the drains run under most of Sketty. He still takes the Saturday night on-call himself.

CCTV surveyor and repairs

Siân Jenkins

Siân joined in 2017 after an apprenticeship with a civil engineering contractor, and runs the camera surveys and relining. She writes every survey report herself, in plain English with the stills that matter, and she will tell you when a crack is nothing to worry about.

How we work

Four things that always happen.

At your door when we said

You get an arrival window when you ring and a text when we are fifteen minutes away. If we are going to be late, we ring.

The price before we leave the yard

Job, time of day, price. If the job turns out bigger, we stop, show you, and price the next step before doing it.

Cleared, then proven

We run water through after every clearance and lift the next chamber to see it flowing. If it blocks again within 30 days, we come back free.

Clean when we leave

Overshoes indoors, sheets down, and the area washed down outside. Nobody wants to remember a drain visit.

Overflowing? Ring now.

The phones are answered day and night. You get the price for the job and the time of day before we set off, an arrival window, and a text when we are fifteen minutes away.
