CCTV drain surveys
A camera through the drain from chamber to sewer, recorded, with a written report of every defect, its distance and what we would do about it.

Whose drain is it?
If it is Welsh Water's, you do not pay us.
A drain serving only your house is yours. Once it joins your neighbour's, it is usually a shared sewer, and since 2011 those belong to the water company, who clear them free. We lift the chambers, find where the blockage is, and if it is in the public sewer we tell you, stop, and do not charge for that part.

How much does it cost to unblock a drain?
By day, a blocked sink is £85, a toilet £95 and an outside drain £110, covering the first hour and the clearance. Out of hours it is £125, £140 and £165. The price page shows which rate applies right now.
When is out of hours?
Weekdays before 8am and after 6pm, Saturdays after midday, all day Sunday and bank holidays.
How quickly can you come?
By day usually within one to two hours in Swansea; out of hours within ninety minutes. You get a window when you ring and a text when we are close.
Is it my drain or Welsh Water's?
If a drain serves only your property, it is yours. Once it joins a neighbour's, it is usually a public sewer and Welsh Water's to clear, free. We tell you which.
What if it blocks again?
If the same drain blocks within thirty days of our clearance, we come back free. Twice suggests a fault, and a camera survey will find it.
Do you charge for a survey visit?
A CCTV survey is £165 with a written report and footage. A quote for a repair found on a survey is free.
