What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us about it.
What we collect
When you use the call-out form we collect your name, phone number, email address and postcode, the kind of job, how urgent it is, a day if given and anything you write. The form records the time it was sent and your IP address, used only to block automated submissions. The price page stores nothing; your choices are in the page address and nowhere else.
As a customer we hold your address, access notes, the job, any CCTV footage and survey report, and payments.
Why we use it
- To attend and do the job (our contract with you).
- To produce survey reports for you, your insurer or your buyer, when you ask (contract).
- To honour the 30-day re-block promise and liner guarantees (contract).
- To keep accounting and waste records (legal obligation).
Who sees it
Our engineers and office, the tanker partner for septic tank jobs (address and access only), your insurer or solicitor if you ask us to send them a report, and our accountant. We never sell or share your details for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted after six months. Job records, footage and reports are kept for six years, and for the length of any liner guarantee.
Cookies
This site sets a single session cookie to limit repeat form submissions. It holds no personal data and expires when you close the browser. The map on the find-us page is served by Google, which may set its own cookies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it (subject to what we must keep), or object to how we use it. Email jobs@flowright-drainage.co.uk. We reply within a month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
