Salads

Four salad boxes made each morning, chicken Caesar, Greek, the rainbow bowl and tuna Niçoise, plus any sandwich filling as a salad box.

Three salad boxes on a counter: chicken Caesar, Greek with feta, and a rainbow grain bowl with falafel

For the days a sandwich is too much: four salad boxes made each morning, dressed on the side so they are not soggy by one o’clock.

The chicken Caesar uses chicken roasted here and a Caesar dressing made with anchovies; the Greek has proper feta; the rainbow bowl is grains, falafel, hummus, roast vegetables and toasted seeds, and is vegan; the tuna Niçoise has egg, green beans, new potatoes and olives.

Any sandwich filling can be had as a salad box on leaves, cucumber, tomato and coleslaw, for £1 more than it costs on bread.

Questions about salads

Are the salads gluten-free?

The Greek and the Niçoise contain no gluten ingredients; the Caesar has croutons. The kitchen handles all 14 major allergens, so please ask.

Can I have a salad in an office order?

Yes, and they come labelled by name if you tell us who is having what.

Do the salads keep until the afternoon?

In a fridge, yes. The dressing being on the side helps.
