How we do it
Jodie’s one rule since 2017: if you can see the plate through the sandwich, it goes back. Fillings reach the crust.
Two counters from twelve to two, so the queue moves. Ring ahead or build it online and it is waiting in a bag.
Vegetarian and vegan fillings every day, gluten-free bread on request, and honest answers about what the kitchen handles.
Order by 10:30 and Sam brings it to Tredomen, Penallta, Dyffryn or Oakdale between twelve and one.

Five o’clock, Bargoed
A family bakery in Bargoed bakes our bloomers, seeded loaves, baps, baguettes and ciabatta at five and has them on Bedwlwyn Road by six. Jodie makes the fillings from six: coronation chicken, egg mayonnaise, the ham roasted on Wednesdays and the beef on Mondays.
Sandwiches and baguettesReviews
We order working lunches for our Thursday meeting every week. In by half ten, on the table at twelve, every bag labelled. Sam even remembers who does not want onions.
Full roll and a tea on the way to site every morning for three years. Proper bacon, egg done right, ready when I pull up because I ring at quarter to seven.
The chicken, bacon and mayo on brown seeded is the best sandwich in the valley and I will hear no argument. Filled right to the crust as promised.
At 10:30 on weekdays for delivery between twelve and one the same day. The office orders page says from the clock whether today’s cut-off has passed.

Tell us before you order. Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens, so we cannot promise anything is free of traces. Every filling is listed on the allergen sheet at the counter.
Yes, 90p extra. It is not safe for coeliacs because it is filled in the same kitchen.
