Soup of the day in winter, jacket potatoes, chilli on Thursdays and Fridays, and sausage rolls, steak bakes and pasties baked here every morning.
The hot counter goes on at eleven: pasties and sausage rolls baked here, jackets out of the oven, and in the winter a soup that changes every day.
Sausage rolls, steak bakes and cheese and onion pasties are made from bought-in pastry and our own fillings, baked in batches from eleven so there are always warm ones at twelve and one. Jacket potatoes come with cheese and beans, tuna mayonnaise or chilli.
From October to April there is soup every weekday with a buttered roll, and on Thursdays and Fridays a chilli con carne with rice that has its own regulars.

What it costs
Sausage roll £1.80, jacket from £5.20, soup and a roll £4.20. Every price is on the menu page; the build page prices any sandwich.

Can hot food go in an office order?
Yes: pasties, sausage rolls and jackets travel in insulated boxes and arrive hot.
Is the soup vegetarian?
Usually, and vegan twice a week. The board in the window and the counter say which.
Do you do the hot food on Saturdays?
Pasties and rolls yes; no jackets or soup on Saturdays.
