What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us about it.

What we collect

When you use the booking form we collect your name, phone number, email address and postcode, what you want to book, when you can train, a preferred day and anything you write. The form also records the time it was sent and your IP address, used only to block automated submissions. The round timer and the pad-slot list are worked out on the page and store nothing.

Before your first session we ask you to fill in a short health questionnaire: injuries, conditions, medication and anything a doctor has said. This is special category data, held with your explicit consent because we cannot coach you safely without it. We then keep a session card (combinations learnt, rounds done, notes), bookings and payments. For children we also hold the parent or carer's details, the consent form and emergency contacts.

Why we use it

  • To arrange and run your sessions (our contract with you).
  • To coach you safely, which is why we hold the health questionnaire (your explicit consent, and your vital interests in an emergency, when it may be shown to a paramedic).
  • To keep children safe, as our safeguarding policy requires.
  • To keep accounting records (a legal obligation).

Who sees it

Dai and Kerry. The health questionnaire is seen by whichever of us coaches you and, in an emergency, by a paramedic. Our booking and email providers process it for us. For fight prep, we share notes about your training with your event's coaches only if you ask us to. We never sell or share your details for marketing, and we never photograph children without a parent's written consent.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become sessions are deleted after six months. Health questionnaires and session cards are kept for two years after your last session, then deleted; records for children until they are twenty-one; accounting records for six years as the law requires.

Cookies

This site sets one session cookie when you send the booking form, to limit repeat submissions; it expires when you close the browser. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. The map on the find-us page is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies when it is shown.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent for the health questionnaire (in which case we will have to stop coaching you, and we will say so). Email hello@cornermanboxingpt.co.uk or ask either of us at a session. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
