Hearing aid repairs

A clean, a new tube or dome while you wait, and repairs on most makes whether you bought them here or not. NHS aids go back to the NHS, and we tell you how.

An aid that has stopped working is usually just blocked. Walk in any time we are open, without an appointment: most problems are fixed in ten minutes.

We clean the microphone ports, change the wax guard and dome, check the battery contacts and listen to it on a test box. If it needs to go to the maker, we tell you what it will cost before it goes, and whether it is worth it.

We cannot repair NHS aids, because they belong to the health board. We can however tell you exactly where to take them, and clean them while you wait, which often sorts it out.
