Feature walls and whole rooms hung with the pattern matched, the seams invisible and the walls lined first where they need it, in anything from a plain textured paper to a hand-printed mural.
Wallpaper is unforgiving. A pattern a millimetre out at a seam shows across the whole room, and an unlined wall shows every ridge of old plaster through a £90 roll.
Walls are stripped, washed, filled and sanded, then cross-lined with a lining paper so the finished surface is flat and the seams of the top paper have something to grip. Papers are measured for pattern repeat and drop before a roll is cut, hung with the right paste for the paper (paste-the-wall, paste-the-paper or ready-pasted all need different handling) and the seams rolled, not pressed with a thumb.
We hang everything from a plain lining paper you paint over to grasscloths, vinyls, flocks, wide-width murals and digitally printed panels. Bring the paper or let us order it to the trade, and we will tell you how many rolls before you buy them.
