New colour, same kitchen, a fraction of the price

Kitchen spraying

Kitchen doors, drawer fronts and end panels sprayed in a tough two-pack finish in any colour, in place or in our spray room, so a sound kitchen gets a new look for a tenth of the cost of replacing it.

Most kitchens that get ripped out are structurally fine. They are the wrong colour, or the doors have yellowed. Spraying fixes both for a weekend and a fraction of the money.

Doors and drawer fronts come off and are degreased, sanded and primed in a sealed spray tent in the kitchen or taken to our spray room. The carcass ends, plinths and cornices are masked and sprayed in place. We use a two-pack polyurethane finish, the same system a car body shop uses, which is harder than any brushed paint and does not chip at the handles.

Any colour from any range, matt, eggshell or satin. New handles fitted if you want them, holes filled if you are changing the style. A typical kitchen is out of action for three days; the doors go back on day three and the finish is fully hard in a week.

Questions about kitchen spraying

Can laminate or vinyl-wrapped doors be sprayed?

Yes, with the right adhesion primer, which is most of what you are paying for. Vinyl doors where the wrap is already lifting are the exception; we strip the wrap first or advise against it.
