Walls, ceilings and woodwork painted properly: filled, sanded, sealed, cut in by hand and finished in two full coats of trade paint, one room at a time with the house still liveable.

Rendered and pebbledash fronts, masonry, timber windows and doors, fascias and railings, painted from a proper tower in a dry spell with the prep that stops it flaking in two winters.

Feature walls and whole rooms hung with the pattern matched, the seams invisible and the walls lined first where they need it, in anything from a plain textured paper to a hand-printed mural.

Kitchen doors, drawer fronts and end panels sprayed in a tough two-pack finish in any colour, in place or in our spray room, so a sound kitchen gets a new look for a tenth of the cost of replacing it.

Doors, skirting, architraves, windows and staircases stripped, repaired, primed and painted, or stripped back and stained, oiled or varnished to show the timber.
Internal doors from £85 each painted both sides, skirting and architrave from £9 per metre, staircases from £480 painted or from £720 with a stripped and oiled handrail.

Offices, shops, cafés, surgeries, rental properties and communal stairwells decorated around your opening hours, with low-odour paints, out-of-hours working and one invoice.
Day rate £240 per decorator, or fixed prices by the job.
Colour consultation
Ninety minutes with Jo and sixty painted A4 boards, walking every room you are thinking about. Each room narrows to three colours you keep and move round the walls for a few days; then a written scheme with brand, name and finish. £95, taken off the decorating if we do it.
How we work
A free hour with painted A4 samples before we start, so you choose in your light rather than under shop strip lights. Consultations for whole houses.
Prep, paint, two coats, woodwork and VAT in one figure per room. If we find blown plaster or damp we show you and price it before touching it.
Cut in by hand with a sash brush, never taped. Ceilings and walls meet in a line you can run a finger along.
One job at a time per team. We do not start you while finishing someone else, so when we say Tuesday it is Tuesday.

Every room in a 1930s semi while we lived in it. The colour consultation was the best £95 we have spent on the house; the lines between the pink walls and the navy alcoves are so sharp people ask if it is wallpaper. Tidy every single evening.
Quoted £22k to replace a kitchen that was perfectly good. Brushwork sprayed the doors sage green for under two grand and it looks like a new kitchen. Three days. Two years on, not a chip at the handles.
Front of the house painted from a proper tower, windows re-puttied, door in slate. Dan waited four days for the render to dry after washing it rather than paint it damp. That is why it still looks new three summers later.

Usually three to five weeks for interiors, longer in spring for exteriors. Rental turnarounds are fitted in between and can often start within a week. We give a date at the quote and keep it, because we do not run two jobs at once per team.
Yes, at trade price, from whichever brand you choose. If you have already bought it, we use yours. Either way we tell you how much it needs before anyone buys it.
