£150 for up to twenty people, at the park or your workplace, lunchtimes or after work

Team bootcamps

A bootcamp for a workplace, a club or a group of friends: fifty minutes for up to twenty people of any fitness, built round team challenges rather than individual times, at the bandstand or on your own grass. Lunchtimes, after work or a one-off away-day morning.

Team bootcamps started with the council offices across the river and spread to the hospital, two schools and a rugby club's committee. The format is the same as our sessions but scored as teams, so the fit ones help the rest and everybody finishes together.

A team session is fifty minutes: a warm-up, a circuit done in pairs, a team relay, a challenge where the whole group has to hit a total between them, and a stretch. Every station has three levels, so nobody has to perform in front of their manager. We send a short health questionnaire beforehand and read every one.

At the park we meet at the bandstand; elsewhere we need flat grass or a hall the size of two tennis courts and bring all the kit and the hi-vis. One-off sessions are £150; a regular weekly lunchtime is £120 a session. We are insured for workplace sessions and send the certificate with the booking.

Questions about team bootcamps

Half the team never exercises.

Good: the format is built for that. The team totals mean the people who do exercise carry the score and the people who do not just keep moving.

Can we do it on our own site?

Yes, within ten miles of Pontypridd, on grass or in a hall roughly the size of two tennis courts.

Your first session is free. See you at the bandstand.

Tell us which sessions suit and we reply within the hour between sessions with a time. Come ten minutes early, in trainers and layers, and whoever is leading will show you round and give you the easiest version of everything.
