Three years of Monday and Friday 6:15s at the bandstand. I have trained in frost, fog and once a hailstorm, and I have never once regretted getting out of bed. Bethan remembers everyone's kids' names and everyone's bad knee.

What people say, mud and all.
Six of two hundred and eighty-seven, one for each thing we run. Collected by an independent platform after the first month; we do not choose which appear.

Six of two hundred and eighty-seven.
Fifty-eight, three stone heavier than I wanted to be, and terrified of looking stupid. The starter was eight of us all as bad as each other. Now I am one of the regulars waving at the new starters.
Could not run for a bus in January. Ran 5k along the Taff Trail in March with Osian at the back telling terrible jokes. Doing the parkrun most Saturdays now.
Me, my husband and our three do the 9:30 most Saturdays. The kids think it is a game and it absolutely wipes us out. Best £12 we spend all week.
Great sessions and great people. Four stars because the school hall echoes like a swimming pool when twenty people do burpees, and the Friday 7pm in December is properly grim. Bring a head torch, they are not joking.
We book a Thursday lunchtime team session every week for the office. People who never spoke to each other now plank side by side. Attendance has stayed above fifteen for a year.
Reviews are collected by an independent platform after the first month and we answer every one. About the echo: the hall now has the gym mats down along one wall, which helps a bit. About the Friday 7pm in December: yes.
Your first session is free. See you at the bandstand.
Tell us which sessions suit and we reply within the hour between sessions with a time. Come ten minutes early, in trainers and layers, and whoever is leading will show you round and give you the easiest version of everything.
