Made to your measurements
Headboards, window seats & cushions.
Bespoke upholstered headboards, window seats, bench cushions and scatter cushions in any fabric from the library or your own.

The quickest way to lift a room is a piece made for it rather than bought near enough. Headboards, window seats and cushions are made in the workshop to your measurements, in your fabric, in about two weeks.
Headboards are built on a ply frame with high-density foam and a Dacron wrap, in any height, width and shape: plain, winged, deep-buttoned, fluted or bordered. They can be wall-mounted or fixed to the bed with adjustable struts. We make matching valances and ottomans.
Window seats and bench cushions are templated from your space, cut from firm seating foam and finished with piping, buttons or a plain welt. Scatter cushions are made with feather or fibre pads and invisible zips.
Choose from the fabric library or bring us a remnant. Offcuts from a reupholstery job are often enough for a pair of cushions to tie a room together, and we will suggest it if we see the chance.

Questions we are asked
How much fabric do I need for a headboard?
A standard double headboard takes about 2 metres of plain fabric and 2.5 metres of a patterned one. Deep buttoning uses more. Tell us the size and we will give you the figure.
Can you make a cushion from my own fabric?
Yes, as long as there is enough of it and it is suitable for the job. We will tell you if a dress fabric will not take a seat pad.
Send us a photo of your piece.
Two or three photos from your phone and the rough size is all we need to give you an honest quote, usually within two working days.
