Seating that earns its keep

Pubs, restaurants, hotels & offices.

Banquettes, booths, bar stools and reception seating in contract-grade, fire-rated fabrics, worked around your opening hours.

Curved banquette seating in deep green velvet with brass studding inside a restored Victorian pub

Commercial seating takes a hammering: hundreds of sittings a week, spilled drinks, Saturday nights. It needs the right foam density, a fabric with a rub count to match, and a trade that can do the job without closing you for a fortnight.

We survey on site, measure up, and recommend fabrics rated Crib 5 or above with Martindale counts from 50,000 rubs upwards. Most jobs are phased so a run of booths is out of service for days, not weeks, and we can work nights or Sunday mornings in trading premises.

Fixed banquettes and booths are rebuilt in situ or removed to the workshop in sections. Loose chairs and stools are collected in batches so you are never short of seats. Where frames have failed we will say so and either repair them or source matching replacements.

We have re-seated pubs in Pontypridd and Cardiff, a boutique hotel in the Vale, dental waiting rooms, a chapel, two cafés and a run of eighty office chairs. Ask us for references in your sector.

Questions we are asked

What fire rating do pub and restaurant fabrics need?

Fabrics in licensed and public premises should meet BS 7176 Medium Hazard, usually achieved with a Crib 5 rated fabric or a fire-retardant interliner. We only specify fabrics that comply and give you the certificates for your file.

How do you avoid closing the business?

By phasing. We take seating away in sections and return each before taking the next, and we fit fixed seating out of hours. A twelve-booth restaurant can be done without a single lost service.

Can you match an existing colour?

Usually to within a shade. We work from a cutting of the existing fabric and send samples before anything is ordered.

Send us a photo of your piece.

Two or three photos from your phone and the rough size is all we need to give you an honest quote, usually within two working days.
