Oxblood Chesterfield, Penarth
Full traditional rebuild. Two hundred buttons, every one hand-tied.
Our work
A few of the two thousand and some pieces that have been through the workshop. The two at the top have sliders: drag the handle to see what arrived and what went home.

Full traditional rebuild. Two hundred buttons, every one hand-tied.

New latex-foam cushions to the original profile and the teak given a wax.

Fourteen metres of curved banquette, rebuilt in three phases over three Sunday mornings. Not a single lost service.

Made to measure for a wood-burner hearth, with a lift-off lid for the kindling.

Eighteen stools, collected six at a time so the café never ran short.

Horsehair washed and reused, new hessian and scrim, close-nailed brass studs along the show-wood.

Walnut frame re-glued and the stripes run true across the back and seat, which is harder than it sounds.

A twenty-year-old sofa with a good frame. New feather-and-foam seats and loose covers that come off for the wash.

Original frames, new diaphragms and foam, leather matched to the 1972 factory colour.

Super-king, wall-mounted, with a pair of cushions from the offcuts.
