The kit, without the class
Open gym
Use the sleds, ergs, bags, balls and racks on your own outside class times, with your own plan or ours. A coach is always in the building.

If you already have a plan, or you are following ours from the race block, you need the kit more than you need the class. Open gym is the kit.
Open gym runs between classes: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm on Saturday after the classes finish. The turf lane, six SkiErgs, eight rowers, the sleds, sandbags from 10 to 30 kilos, wall balls from 4 to 9 kilos, three racks and a full set of kettlebells.
A coach is always in the building, usually writing programmes in the corner. Ask if you want a second pair of eyes on something; it is free for a minute and £40 for an hour.
The rules are short: put it back, wipe it down, and the turf lane is shared, so sled pushes go one way at a time.

Questions about open gym
Do I need an induction?
Yes, a free fifteen-minute one on your first visit, so you know where things are and how the sleds load.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, they pay £6 and do the same induction.
Is there parking?
Yes, free, in front of the unit and along the estate road.
Your first class is free. Come and push a sled.
Book any class the night before and tell the coach at the door it is your first. You get the lighter option at every station, a coach nearby, and nobody watching the clock but you. Or come to a race sim and see what the whole thing feels like.
