Forty-five minutes, fourteen people at most
Functional fitness classes
Forty-five-minute classes built from the race stations, runs and strength work, with a lighter and a heavier option at every station. Six mornings, five evenings.

You do not need to be racing to come to a class. Most of our members are not. They come because forty-five minutes of sleds, ergs and carries is a good way to get fit, and it is more fun with thirteen other people.
Every class has the same shape: ten minutes of warm-up and the skill of the day, twenty-five minutes of work, ten minutes of cool-down and stretching. The work changes daily: some days intervals on the ergs, some days a strength block with sandbags and kettlebells, some days a long steady circuit of the stations.
Every station has a lighter and a heavier version, chalked on the board before you arrive. The coach walks the floor the whole time. If you are new, tell us at the door and you will get the lighter option and a coach nearby for the first few weeks.
Classes run at 6am and 7am Monday to Saturday, and 5:30pm and 6:30pm Monday to Thursday, with 5:30pm on Friday. Fourteen people at most. Book through the app or by text by 9pm the night before.

Questions about classes
I am not fit. Will I keep up?
There is nothing to keep up with. Everyone works to their own effort on their own version of the station; the person next to you may be doing half or double what you are. Nobody is timed against anyone.
What should I bring?
Trainers with a flat sole, water, and a towel. Gloves are optional; most people do the sleds without.
Can I come if I have an injury?
Tell the coach before the class. We can usually work around a sore knee or shoulder, but if a doctor or physio has told you not to do something, we will follow that.
Your first class is free. Come and push a sled.
Book any class the night before and tell the coach at the door it is your first. You get the lighter option at every station, a coach nearby, and nobody watching the clock but you. Or come to a race sim and see what the whole thing feels like.
