What we do

Six jobs. One way of doing them.

All services and prices

01

Roof repairs

Slipped and cracked slates, leaking valleys, loose ridge tiles and crumbling verge mortar, found with the drone and fixed in one visit wherever the roof allows.

Repairs from £150 including the first hour and up to five slates.

02

Re-roofing

A new roof from the battens up: old covering stripped, timbers checked and photographed, breathable membrane, new battens and slate or tile, with a twenty-year guarantee.

Re-roofs from £6,800 for a terraced house in natural slate, £8,900 for a three-bedroom semi, including scaffold, skip, membrane, battens, ridge, leadwork and VAT.

03

Flat roofs

Extension, garage, porch and dormer roofs in EPDM rubber or GRP fibreglass, laid on new decking where the old one is soft, with a twenty-year guarantee and no felt in sight.

EPDM flat roofs from £1,900 for a single garage, £3,400 for a typical extension including new decking and insulation where needed.

04

Chimneys and leadwork

Leaning and crumbling chimney stacks rebuilt or taken down, flashings redone in lead that will outlast the roof, pots capped and vented, all from a proper scaffold.

Re-flashing and repointing from £650 including scaffold tower.

05

Fascias, soffits and guttering

Rotten timber fascias and soffits removed and replaced with uPVC, new guttering and downpipes sized for Welsh rain, ventilated so the loft stays dry.

Full replacement from £1,400 for a three-bedroom semi, £1,900 for a detached house, including removal of the old timber, uPVC fascia and soffit, new guttering and downpipes.

06

Storm and emergency repairs

Ridge tiles and slates blown off, trees through roofs, leaks through ceilings: made safe the same day, photographed for your insurer, and repaired properly once the weather allows.

Emergency make-safe from £180 including the first hour, any day, any hour.

The drone survey

We look before we quote. From above, in detail, for free.

A ten-minute flight photographs every slope, chimney, valley and gutter. You get the annotated photographs and a written report whoever you choose for the work, and the quote is built from what is actually up there, not what someone guessed from the pavement.

  • Every problem circled and named on the photograph
  • What needs doing now, what can wait, and how long the roof has left
  • Free with any quote; £95 on its own, deducted if you book

How we work

Four things on every job, in writing.

Surveyed from above

A drone flight and a written report with photographs before any quote. You see what we see, and you keep the report whoever you choose.

The quote is the bill

Scaffold, skip, materials, labour and VAT in one figure. If we find rotten timber under the old roof we photograph it and price it before touching it.

Guaranteed in writing

Twenty years on re-roofs and flat roofs, five on repairs, insurance-backed so it holds even if we are not around.

Watertight every night

A roof is never left open. Whatever stage we reach, it is sheeted and weighted before we leave, and we check the forecast before we strip.

Re-roof

Full re-roof of our cottage in Welsh slate. Gethin flew the drone, sent us thirty photographs and a report, and the quote matched the final invoice to the pound. Nine days, two chimneys rebuilt, roof sheeted every night. Beautiful job.

Repair

Two other roofers quoted a full re-roof from the pavement. Lowri flew the drone and showed me it needed eleven slates and a new valley. £380. I will be using them for the real re-roof in a few years.

Flat roof

Extension roof in EPDM with a lantern. The old felt had been leaking at the lantern corners for two winters. Done in two days, not a drip since, and the warm-roof build-up has made the kitchen noticeably warmer.

Questions people ask before they ring

How much does a new roof cost?

From £6,800 for a terraced house in natural slate and £8,900 for a three-bedroom semi, including scaffold, skip, membrane, battens, leadwork and VAT. Spanish slate is about 15% less, concrete tile about 25% less. The exact figure comes from the drone survey, which is free.

Is the drone survey really free?

Yes, with any quote. If you only want the survey and report, without a quote, it is £95, which we deduct if you later book the work.

Do you leave the roof open overnight?

Never. We strip only what we can cover the same day and sheet and weight the rest. We check the forecast before stripping and will lose a day rather than risk your ceilings.

What does the guarantee cover?

Twenty years on re-roofs and flat roofs, ten on fascias and gutters, five on repairs: workmanship and materials, insurance-backed so the cover stands even if the company does not. It transfers to the next owner of the house.

Are you insured to work at height?

£5m public liability and employer's liability, with the certificates sent with every quote. Everyone on the roof holds a working-at-height card.

Get the roof looked at properly.

A free drone survey, a photo report you keep, and a fixed quote that includes the scaffold and the skip. Storm damage: ring the storm line, any hour.
