The team

A pharmacist and a prop.

Ling reads the small print and Rhys knows what a bad neck feels like. We both trained for three years, and we both have other careers to compare this with.

The people

Ling Evans, an acupuncturist with short black and grey hair, in an ink-coloured linen tunic

Ling Evans

Acupuncturist and founder

Ling was born in Penang, grew up in Swansea, and trained in acupuncture over three years at degree level, after a first career as a hospital pharmacist. She opened on Clive Road in 2009.

Pharmacy left her with a respect for evidence and a habit of reading the small print. She sees most of the migraine and menopause patients, and will read your prescription list with interest.

Rhys Morgan

Acupuncturist

Rhys played prop for Pontypridd seconds until his neck told him to stop, which is how he first had acupuncture. He trained in 2015 and joined Ling in 2018.

He mainly sees backs, necks and people who think they would never do this. He also does the cupping, with no flames.
