Collected from home within twelve miles; day care while you work
The van, and day care
The green van collects and returns dogs within twelve miles of the farm: Llantrisant, Pontyclun, Talbot Green, Miskin, Llanharan, Tonyrefail and the villages between, £22 each way. Day care runs from eight to six for the dogs whose people work, with the same walks and the same paddocks.
Not everyone can get to a farm lane at nine in the morning on the day of a flight. The van has done the rounds since 2012: Dan drives, the dogs ride in individual crates with the heating on, and your dog is in its suite with its first walk done before your plane boards. It comes back the same way.
The van covers twelve miles from the farm, which takes in Llantrisant, Pontyclun, Talbot Green, Miskin, Llanharan, Llanharry, Tonyrefail, Church Village and most of the villages between, at £22 each way. Collections are between eight and eleven, returns between three and six, and you get a text ten minutes before. Further afield we will quote, and Cardiff Airport is a regular run.
Day care is for the dogs whose people work: eight until six, the same three paddock walks, lunch if you send it, and a suite to nap in between, for £26 a day or £230 for a block of ten. It is also how we suggest a nervous dog tries the farm before a first overnight stay. Day care dogs need the same vaccinations and the same registration as boarders.

Questions about van and day care
How far does the van go?
Twelve miles as standard, which reaches Pontypridd one way and Cowbridge the other. Beyond that we quote by the mile; Cardiff Airport is £40 each way and we do it most weeks.
Can I book day care for just one day?
Yes, with a day's notice, if we have space; regulars with a block booking have priority on busy days. Puppies under six months come for half days to start.
Can the van collect my key and let itself in?
No. Someone needs to hand the dog over, for the dog's sake and for the paperwork. A neighbour or a dog walker is fine if you tell us who.
Book a stay, or come and look.
Give us the dates, the dog and whether two are sharing, and Helen replies within a day with the suite, the price and the deposit. Viewings on Saturdays, eleven to one, no appointment. Bring the dog.
