Wednesday and Thursday are the quiet nights, and a family of four should be able to have a proper pizza without it costing what a takeaway from the chains does. So on those two nights, and early on a Sunday, the deal is three pizzas for a little more than the price of two and a half.
The family deal is any three pizzas from the board, a garlic bread from the oven and two dips, for £32. Vegan or gluten-free swaps cost the usual pound or two. The big family deal adds a fourth pizza and a tray of wings or rosemary potatoes for £44. The deals run all evening on Wednesday and Thursday and from five to six on a Sunday, collection only, booked to a slot like any other order.
The children's pizza is eight inches, margherita, ham, or ham and pineapple, which we make without comment, with a carton of apple juice, for £6 any day. On a Wednesday in the school holidays children who come in to collect with a grown-up get to put their own pizza in the oven with the peel, if the queue allows.
