The menu

The board, and your own.

Ten pizzas on a forty-eight-hour dough, sides from the same oven, dips made every morning and two things for afters, with the allergens on every line. If what you want is not on the board, build it underneath and the price is added up as you choose.

A wood-fired pizza with a puffed, charred crust coming out of the glowing oven mouth on a long wooden peel, flames at the back

Any pizza made vegan with our cashew mozzarella for £1 more, or on the ten-inch gluten-free base for £2 more. The oven, the counter and the air are shared with wheat flour; ring Carys before you order if that matters to you. Allergens are kept to the recipe; ask at the counter for the full ingredient sheet.

Questions about the menu

Why is the crust burnt in places?

It is not burnt; it is charred. A wood-fired oven at four hundred and fifty degrees blisters the bubbles in the crust and they go dark. Those spots are where the flavour is. If you would like it paler, say so on the order and we will cook it a little further from the fire.

How big is a pizza?

Twelve inches, about thirty centimetres, and one is plenty for one hungry adult. The children's pizza is eight inches and the gluten-free base is ten.

Why only six toppings?

Because the oven cooks a pizza in ninety seconds, and seven toppings make a wet middle that the fire cannot reach in that time. We would rather say no than send out a soggy pizza.

Can I build half and half?

Yes. Build one half, note the other half on the order, and we charge the dearer half plus a pound for the work. It is the one thing the page does not add up for you.

Pick a slot. It comes out as you walk in.

Choose a collection time from the slots still open, every ten minutes while the oven is lit, say what you would like, and it goes into the oven three minutes before your time.
