What we collect
When you use the order form we collect your name, mobile number, email address and postcode, what the order is, a date if you give one, and what you write about the order, including any allergies you tell us about. The form also records the time it was sent and your IP address, used only to block automated submissions. The slot board puts the time you pick in the address of the page and stores nothing. The build-your-own page puts your base and toppings in the address of the page and stores nothing. Orders placed at the counter or by phone are written on a ticket with your name and number.
For a collection slot we keep your name, number, the time and the order until it is collected. For the van and the dough school we keep your name, number, the date, the place, the number of guests and the deposit. Allergy information you give us is used only to prepare that order. We do not store card details; card payments at the till and for van and dough school deposits go through our card terminal provider.
Why we use it
- To cook, box and tell you about the order (our contract with you).
- To run van bookings and the dough school (our contract with you).
- To keep accounting and traceability records (a legal obligation).
- To ask for a review after an order, which you can decline by replying.
We do not send marketing unless you have asked for the Friday noon reminder text, which you can stop by replying or by telling us. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Who sees it
The four people who work in the shop. Our card terminal provider, for payments. Our website host, for the order form. Our accountant, for the accounts. The local authority's environmental health officer, for traceability records, if asked. None of them may use your details for anything else.
How long we keep it
Slot bookings are deleted a week after collection. Van and dough school records are kept for six years after the last order, because the accounts require it. Traceability records are kept for the period the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@fforest-fired-pizza.co.uk or asking at the counter. We answer within a month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The website sets one cookie, a session identifier, only when you send the order form, so that we can stop the same browser sending the form twice in thirty seconds. It holds nothing about you and expires when you close the browser. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. The map on the Find us page is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.
