Number thirty-one Taff Street, between the bank and the old cinema, five minutes from the station. The counter is at the front, the oven at the back, the bench by the door. Lit Wednesday to Sunday evenings and Friday and Saturday lunch; the home page says whether it is lit now.

On Taff Street

Number 31, between the bank and the old cinema, with the charcoal front and the glow in the window. The oven is at the back; you can watch it from the bench by the door.

By train

Pontypridd station is a five-minute walk: down the steps, left along Taff Street. Trains from Cardiff Queen Street every fifteen minutes, from Merthyr, Aberdare and Treherbert every half hour.

By car

The Gas Road car park and the Goods Yard car park are both four minutes' walk and free after six. There is a loading bay outside for a quick collection; we will bring it out if you ring from the car.

By bus

The bus station is on Morgan Street, three minutes away, with buses from the Rhondda, Church Village, Talbot Green and Caerphilly. Ynysangharad Park is over the bridge for eating outside.

Access

Step-free from the street, a wide door, and the counter at sitting height at one end. The bench inside seats eight; there are no toilets for customers, sorry, but the park's are across the bridge.

When we are lit

Wednesday to Sunday evenings from five, and Friday and Saturday lunch from noon. Monday and Tuesday the oven rests and the dough is made. The home page says whether the oven is lit now.

Pick a slot. It comes out as you walk in.

Choose a collection time from the slots still open, every ten minutes while the oven is lit, say what you would like, and it goes into the oven three minutes before your time.
