Your timeline
Your dates, worked back.
A gown takes five to six months to make and then there are three fittings. Give us the wedding date and we will show you when everything needs to happen.

When is the wedding?
It counts back from your date, moves anything that lands on a Sunday or Monday to the Saturday before, and tells you plainly if you are too late to order.
The next free appointment is Friday 6 November at 3:30pm.
The numbers behind it
Why it takes so long.
- 28 weeks to orderGowns are made for you once you have ordered. That takes five to six months, with a little room for what goes wrong at the maker's end.
- 16 weeks at the very leastThree of our makers take a rush order for about £150. Under sixteen weeks nobody can do it, so we will show you the sample rail.
- Three fittingsAt about ten weeks, five weeks and two weeks before. Bodies and minds change, and that last fitting is there for good reason.
Two hours, a pot of tea and no sales talk.
Appointments are free and there is nothing to sign. Tuesday to Saturday, on Eastgate. Saturdays go first, so look at the weekdays if you can.
