A room, a rail and two hours
Wedding gowns
About sixty gowns from seven makers, £895 to £2,400, tried on by appointment with the room to yourself.

You get the room for two hours, a pot of tea and whoever you want to bring. There are no sales targets here, and every gown has its price on the tag where you can see it.
We keep about sixty gowns from seven makers, from plain silk crepe to full lace. Samples are in sizes 10 to 20 and we clip or support them to show you the shape, then order in your size, from 6 to 28. Angharad will ask three questions before you see a dress: where the wedding is, what you wear when you feel good, and what you have already decided you hate. It is often the last answer that helps most.
Nobody will tell you it is the one. If you want to go away and think, we will write down the names and prices on a card, and we will still say hello when you come back. Most brides make up their minds on a second visit, and that is fine.
How it works here
- Two hours with the room to yourself, up to four guests
- Every price on the tag, with alterations quoted in writing
- Ordered in your size, 6 to 28, usually in five to six months
- Half as deposit, the balance at your final fitting
- A card with names and prices to take home
What it costs
Gowns run from £895 to £2,400, with most between £1,200 and £1,700. Alterations are priced separately and in writing. A deposit of half secures the order. Every price is on the prices page, and your timeline works out your dates.
Questions about wedding gowns
How far ahead should I start?
Order 28 weeks before the wedding if you can. The timeline tool works it out from your date, including when your fittings fall. If you are closer than that, read what it says, because we do have options.
Do I have to buy on the day?
No, and we would rather you did not feel you should. We do not offer same-day discounts. The price on the tag is the same next month.
Can I try on if I am a size 24?
Yes. We hold samples in sizes up to 20 for most shapes and up to 26 in three. Tell us when you book and we will have the right ones out before you arrive.
Two hours, a pot of tea and no sales talk.
Appointments are free and there is nothing to sign. Tuesday to Saturday, on Eastgate. Saturdays go first, so look at the weekdays if you can.
