Your timeline
When do you need to order?
A gown takes five to six months to make, then there are three fittings. Put in your wedding date and we will work back: the date to order by, each fitting, and the day to collect. If it is too soon to order, it will say so.
Your appointment
What actually happens.
- Three questionsWhere is the wedding, what do you wear on a good day, and what have you already decided you hate? Then we put the kettle on.
- Six or so gownsWe choose some, you choose some, and at least one will be a surprise. Samples are clipped or supported to show you the shape.
- A card to take homeNames and prices, written down. We do no same-day discounts, because nobody should buy a wedding gown in a hurry.

We do not do same-day discounts or tearful sales talk. Buy when you are ready.
Sizes 6 to 28
Samples up to size 20, and to size 26 in three shapes, and we order in everything up to 28.
The room is yours
One bride at a time, two hours, up to four guests, and a pot of tea.

What brides told us.
I said I hated lace and Angharad didn't argue, she just asked what I wear on a good day. Then she brought out a plain crepe I would never have looked at. I came back a week later and bought it.
Eleven weeks to the wedding after we moved the date for my dad. They told me straight it was too late to order, showed me the sample rail, and I walked out with a gown at £480. Helen made it look made for me.
I had been dreading this. I was given the same room and the same tea as my daughter, and Angharad made me raise both arms in every jacket. It is the first time I have felt taller.
Questions people ask
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, for trying on gowns, so that you get the room to yourself. For a quick look at veils or a question, knock on the door. The next free slots are on this page.
How much does an appointment cost?
Nothing, and there is no obligation to buy. If you cannot come, please tell us, because someone else will want the slot.
How many people can I bring?
Up to four. More than that tends to mean more opinions and less fun. Children and babies are fine.
What should I bring?
Shoes in about the right heel, underwear you would actually wear, and any pictures you like. Leave the fake tan until after your appointment.
What if my wedding is soon?
Put your date in the timeline tool. Under sixteen weeks there is not time to order, so we will show you the sample rail, where gowns go home the same day.
Do you sell online?
No. A wedding gown needs to be tried on. We post bridesmaid swatches and measuring cards, and we have plenty of brides who travel a long way to us.

Appointments are free and there is nothing to sign. Tuesday to Saturday, on Eastgate. Saturdays go first, so look at the weekdays if you can.
