The team

Two dentists, a hygienist, and the time to explain.

Anna bought the practice in 2009 and set the fees that are on the website. James took the nervous patients because he was one. Priya will find the interdental brush that actually fits. GDC numbers on every card.

The clinical team

Anna Rees, a dentist in her forties with dark hair tied back, sky-blue scrubs, arms folded in a bright surgery

Anna Rees

Principal dentist. Implants, crowns, root canals

Anna qualified from Cardiff in 2003, worked in NHS and private practice in Bristol, and bought the practice on the High Street in 2009. She places and restores the implants, does the same-day crowns and most of the root canal treatment, and sets the prices, which is why they are on the website. GDC 82114.

James Morgan, a dentist in his thirties with short hair and glasses, sky-blue scrubs, friendly expression

James Morgan

Dentist. Nervous patients, children, sedation

James joined in 2015 and took the nervous patients because he was one, once. He holds a postgraduate certificate in conscious sedation and runs the sedation list on Wednesday mornings, sees most of the children, and talks to everyone at eye level. He also does the Saturday clinic. GDC 251906.

Priya Shah, a dental hygienist in her thirties with curly hair, charcoal scrubs, holding a toothbrush and model teeth

Priya Shah

Dental hygienist and therapist

Priya qualified as a hygienist-therapist in 2012 and has been here since 2016. She runs the gum disease programme, does the children's fissure sealants and fluoride, and will find the interdental brush size that actually fits you, which nobody has ever done before. GDC 236450.

What you can expect

Four things, every time.

Prevention before treatment

The hygienist is not an add-on here. Six-monthly hygiene is in the membership plan because it is what stops the fillings, and we would rather you never needed a crown.

Same-day emergencies

Toothache, a broken tooth, a lost crown: ring before 10am and you are seen the same day, £95 including the temporary fix. Members are seen free.

Written quotes, no upsell

You get a written plan with each option and its price, including the option of doing nothing. We do not sell whitening to people who came in for a filling.

Ten-year guarantee on crowns

Crowns, bridges and implants are guaranteed for ten years when you keep up your examinations and hygiene. Fillings for three. In writing.

A look inside

Three things that happen here most days.

A crown in a morning

Anna

Scan, design, mill, fit. Two hours in the practice rather than two visits and a temporary. The milling machine is in the room behind reception if you want to watch.

A first visit at fourteen months

James

A ride in the chair, a count of the teeth with the mirror, a sticker. The adult who is not afraid of the dentist started like this.

The talk-first appointment

James

Twelve years since her last visit. The first appointment was a conversation. The second was a look. The third was a filling, with the stop signal agreed and never needed.

Book a check-up, or join the plan.

A new patient examination is £75 with X-rays and photographs, or £18.50 a month on the membership plan with two hygienist visits a year and 10% off treatment. Nervous? Ask for James and start with a conversation.
