Oven cleaning
The oven taken apart, the racks and trays soaked in a tank in the van, the door glass separated and cleaned between the panes, the inside degreased with a non-caustic solution, and everything put back ready to use the same evening. Single £55, double £75, range £95.
Nobody enjoys cleaning an oven and most people do not, so it builds up until the smoke alarm goes off at Sunday lunch. Sam does three or four a day with a dip tank in the van and a non-caustic solution that does not leave the kitchen smelling of chemicals.
The door comes off and the glass panes are separated so the brown haze between them goes. The racks, trays, side runners and fan cover go into the heated tank in the van for the time it takes to do the inside. The cavity is degreased, scraped and polished, the seal cleaned, the fan cover and the bulb cover done, and everything goes back together with the oven ready to use that evening. A single oven takes about an hour and a half.
Hobs, extractor hoods and their filters, microwaves and barbecues are done while we are there at a small fixed price each. An oven clean is also included in every end-of-tenancy clean and can be added to a regular or deep clean on the same visit.

Questions about ovens
Is it safe for a self-cleaning or enamel oven?
Yes. The solution is non-caustic and we do not use it on catalytic liners, which are cleaned dry. Tell us the make if you can; Sam will know what is inside.
Can I use the oven straight away?
The same evening. We wipe the cavity down with water after the clean and run it for ten minutes before we leave to make sure nothing is left to smell.
