What will my house cost?

Every rate and extra
Pick your rooms A three-bedroom, two-bathroom house is usually three hours a week at £19, which is £57 a visit.

A guide, not a quote: the first visit confirms the hours, and a house that needs a reset starts with a deep clean.

How we work

Four things you can expect every clean.

The hours are the hours

A three-hour clean is three hours in the house, timed from the door. If we finish early we do the rotating jobs; if the house needs more we say so before the next visit, not on the invoice.

Your day, your slot

Regular cleans are the same day and slot every week or fortnight, so the house is clean for the weekend, not for a Tuesday. We text if the cleaner is running more than fifteen minutes late.

No surprises on the invoice

The hourly rate times the hours, plus any extra you asked for by name. Monthly invoice by email with each visit listed, paid by transfer or card link.

We clean, we do not judge

Toddlers, dogs, a week of takeaway boxes, a house after a bereavement. We have seen all of it and we start where you are, without a comment.

End of tenancy

A fixed price by bedrooms, the oven in, and the deposit back.

Letting agents check from an inventory, so we clean from one built on theirs: inside every cupboard, the oven with its racks, the windows, the sealant, the washing machine seal, the skirting boards. A dated photo report is in your inbox before you are home, and if the check-out raises anything we return within forty-eight hours for nothing.

  • One bedroom £180, two £240, three £300, four £380
  • Oven inside and out included; carpets £35 a room if your agreement asks
  • Two call-backs in the last year, both fixed the next morning

Regular cleans

Lynne has cleaned for us every Thursday for four years. She knows the house better than I do. The checklist on the side is the thing: I can see the skirting boards were done this week and the oven is next, without asking.

Deep cleans

Deep clean after we bought a house that had been rented for ten years. Two of them for a whole day, the kitchen cupboards came up white and I did not know the shower screen was glass. The regular clean since has been three hours a fortnight and it holds.

Areas

Radyr and Morganstown on the doorstep, Whitchurch and Creigiau by car.

The base is Nia's house on Heol Isaf, not an office, so the first visit happens at yours. The rounds are grouped by day and by area so the drive never comes out of your hours, and we stop at the city centre and the Bay for the same reason.

  • Radyr and Morganstown. The home patch: Heol Isaf, the Garth side, Morganstown down to the river. Most of the regular rounds are here and a cleaner is on the street most mornings.
  • Danescourt and Llandaff North. Five minutes down the hill. Danescourt on the Tuesday and Thursday rounds, Llandaff North along the Taff on Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • Llandaff and Fairwater. Llandaff village and the Cathedral end, Fairwater as far as the Western Avenue. Regular cleans and end of tenancy; the student lets in Llandaff keep Sam busy every July.

Questions people ask before the first visit

How does it start?

A free first visit of up to half an hour at your house: Nia walks the rooms with you, writes the checklist, agrees the hours and the slot, and takes a key if you want one held. The first clean is the following week, with you in if you can be, and the cleaner you meet then is the one you keep.

How much is it?

Regular cleans are £19 an hour with a three-hour minimum, weekly or fortnightly. One-off and deep cleans £24 an hour per cleaner. End of tenancy is fixed by bedrooms from £180 with the oven included. Ovens from £55. The quote builder on the prices page works out your home.

Do you bring your own products?

Yes, everything: plant-based concentrates in refillable bottles, colour-coded microfibre, our own vacuum, mop and steam cleaner. If you want a product of yours used, say so. You never need to buy or store anything.

Will it be the same person each time?

Yes. You meet your cleaner at the first clean and keep them. Holiday cover is a cleaner you have been introduced to and you are told the week before; if you would rather skip the visit than have someone new, that is fine with a week's notice.

Are you insured and checked?

Public liability and key cover with a specialist insurer, and an enhanced DBS check for every cleaner, renewed every three years. The certificates come to the first visit. If we break something we tell you the same day and we pay for it.
