Coaches and welfare
All volunteers, all checked. Parents, mostly, who came to hold the cones one Wednesday and are still here.

Chairman · Under 13s coach
Gethin played for the club in the 1980s and came back when his own boys did. He has been chairman for eleven years, and he marks the lines on the big pitches himself when nobody else will.
He works in a builder's merchant in Caerphilly, which is why the club has never paid full price for a bag of sand.
Club welfare officer · Under 9s coach
Nerys looks after safeguarding for the whole club and coaches the under 9s on the side. Any parent or boy can ring her about anything. She would rather have ten calls about nothing than miss one about something.
Her name, her number and the DBS wording on this demonstration site are placeholders that a real club would replace with its own.

Every coach and helper holds an enhanced DBS check and a safeguarding certificate. Worried about anything? Ring Nerys Howells on 07700 900 175. If a child is in danger now, ring 999. On this demonstration site the names, the number and the DBS wording are placeholders.
Wednesday evenings at Trethomas Park, grouped by age. Bring boots or trainers, shin pads if you have them, and a coat for yourself. Ask for the coach of his age group at the car park gate.
