Cupcakes from £3.20, a boxed dozen £34, towers of forty to a hundred and twenty for weddings and parties, two days' notice
Cupcakes and towers
Cupcakes in the twelve flavours with a swirl of Swiss meringue buttercream: from £3.20 each in the shop, a boxed dozen for £34, and towers for weddings and parties from forty to a hundred and twenty with a cutting cake on top. Two days' notice for a dozen, two weeks for a tower; vegan and gluten-free the same price.

Cupcakes are the cake for an office, a christening where nobody wants to cut, or a wedding where the couple want people to take one and walk off with it. Ours are the same sponges as the tiers, baked in proper cases, topped with Swiss meringue buttercream piped at the counter.
In the shop there are usually six flavours on the counter at £3.20 each (£3.40 for the filled ones). A boxed dozen of one flavour is £34 and a mixed dozen of four is £36, with two days' notice; for a dozen with a piped name or a colour scheme, three. They keep for two days in the box out of the fridge.
Towers are for weddings and big parties: forty cupcakes with a six-inch cutting cake on top for £165, eighty for £290, a hundred and twenty for £410, on our acrylic or wooden stand on loan (a £40 deposit, returned). They are delivered and set up like a wedding cake and count as the Saturday's wedding cake in the diary. Fresh flowers or sugar flowers on the cutting cake as for any tier.

Questions about cupcakes
How many cupcakes per guest?
One each for a wedding with a dessert, one and a half for a party without one. A tower of eighty for a hundred guests with a pudding is about right.
Do they need a fridge?
No. Swiss meringue buttercream is fine at room temperature for two days; keep them out of direct sun and away from a radiator.
