Pulled as a double
Coffee and tea
A medium roast from a roaster ten minutes up the Usk, oat milk at no extra charge, loose-leaf tea in pots and a hot chocolate made with real chocolate.

We use one coffee, a medium roast from a small roaster in Crickhowell, and we would rather make it well than offer twelve.
Every espresso drink is a double shot. The flat white is small and strong, the latte bigger and milder, and the cappuccino comes with a proper foam, not a spoonful of froth. Oat milk is the same price as dairy; we also keep soya.
Tea comes loose-leaf in a pot: breakfast, Earl Grey, a Welsh brew blend, peppermint, chamomile and a green. The hot chocolate is melted dark chocolate and milk, topped with cream if you like, marshmallows for under-tens.
Bring your own cup and we take 20p off any drink.

Questions about coffee and tea
Do you charge extra for oat milk?
No. Oat and dairy cost the same. Soya is also free.
Can I buy the beans?
Yes, 250g bags of the house roast are on the shelf by the till at £8.50, whole or ground for a cafetière.
Is the decaf any good?
It is the same roaster, decaffeinated with water rather than solvents. Most people cannot tell.
Come in. There is usually a table, and always cake.
