Served until 11:30am
Breakfast
The full Corner Cup, a veggie version, eggs any way on sourdough, porridge and bacon baps, all cooked to order from 8am.

Breakfast is the reason most of our regulars found us: a proper plate, cooked to order, with a pot of tea that does not run dry.
The full Corner Cup is two sausages from the butcher in the market hall, two rashers of smoked back bacon, a fried egg from Llanvihangel Crucorney, roast tomato, mushrooms, beans if you want them, and toast or fried bread. On Saturdays it comes with laverbread and cockles if you ask, the way it was served in the market when Megan was small.
The veggie full swaps the meat for Glamorgan sausages and halloumi; the vegan one uses a mushroom and lentil sausage and smashed avocado. Eggs on sourdough come poached, scrambled or fried, and the porridge is made with oats from a mill in Pembrokeshire, with honey from a hive on the Blorenge.
Breakfast stops at 11:30 so the kitchen can turn over to lunch. If you come in at 11:29 we will still cook it.

Questions about breakfast
Can I have breakfast after 11:30?
Bacon baps and eggs on toast carry on through lunch. The full breakfast stops at 11:30 because the grill is needed for lunch.
Is there a gluten-free breakfast?
Yes: gluten-free bread and sausages. We fry in the same kitchen as everything else, so tell us if it is coeliac rather than a preference and we cook it on a clean pan.
Do you take bookings for breakfast?
For six or more, yes. For smaller tables just come in; on market Saturdays expect a short wait after 10am.
Come in. There is usually a table, and always cake.
Breakfast until 11:30, lunch until the kitchen closes, cakes and coffee all day, Tuesday to Sunday. Book for six or more, order a whole cake for collection, or hire the café after hours.
