Reports people can use
School and nursery reports
A clear written report with recommendations a busy teacher can actually use. We visit the setting if you and the school are happy with that.

If your child is struggling at school, it helps to have a clear picture of why. In Wales, a child's additional learning needs are set out in an individual development plan, and a good report can help that conversation.
We assess your child, read what school has already written, and talk to their teacher with your consent. The report says plainly what they can do, what they find hard and what should happen in class, in words that everyone can understand. We will not write what is not true, but we will write it clearly.
We work with the school and the local authority's additional learning needs team, and not against them. A report from us does not guarantee any particular provision, and we will explain what it can and cannot do. Tribunals are a separate piece of work: please ring us to talk about those.
What is included
- An assessment of speech, language and communication
- A written report with practical recommendations
- A conversation with school, with your consent

What it costs
A written report after assessment is £180. A school visit and meeting adds £90. There are no block bookings. We review every six sessions. NHS therapy is free, and we will tell you how to ask for it. It can sit alongside what we do.
Questions about school reports
Will this get my child more support?
It can help, but we cannot promise it. Decisions are made by the school and the local authority.
