Fees and insurance
The fees, all of them.
There is no VAT on chiropractic treatment, no separate report fee and no package you have to buy. The first visit is £65 including the first treatment where appropriate; follow-ups are £42, or five together for £195.

Card or cash on the day. Missed appointments and cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are charged at the follow-up fee, because the slot could have gone to someone in pain; we waive it for illness and emergencies, so ring us.
Health insurance
Recognised by the main insurers.
Both chiropractors are registered providers with the insurers below. Most policies cover a set number of chiropractic visits a year; some want a GP referral first and some do not, so check your policy or ring the number on your card before the first visit. Bring your policy number and any authorisation code.
With Bupa, AXA Health and Vitality we can usually invoice the insurer directly. With the others you pay us and claim back with the receipt we give you, which has everything the insurer asks for on it.

Why there is no package
You pay for the visits you need, and we tell you how many that is.
A number at visit one
Most people need four to eight visits. We write the estimate down with a review date, and we stop when the goal is reached, not when the package runs out.
Five together, if you want
£195 for five follow-ups is £39 each. It is a convenience, not a commitment: unused visits are refunded if the plan ends early.
Maintenance by choice
Some patients choose a visit every four to eight weeks once better, usually the arthritic and the active. It is their choice and it is never a condition of being discharged.
Concessions without asking
Over 65s and students pay £36 for follow-ups, under 16s £32, with ID on the first visit. We apply it automatically; nobody has to ask.
