A big birthday, a ruby wedding, a new baby
Celebration meals
For the meals that matter: a birthday at home, a golden wedding, or a family that will not all fit in a restaurant. A cake, if you like, and speeches when you want them.

Most celebrations do not need a function room. They need everyone at one table, and somebody else doing the cooking.
Tell us who is coming. An older relative who needs softer food, a teenager who eats only potatoes, and a vegan cousin can all be fed well at the same table without making any fuss about it, and that is mostly what we do.
We time the meal around you, so the toast happens when you are ready and the main course waits for no one's speech. If there is a surprise, we will park round the corner and come in by the back door.
For more than fourteen people, or for a long table in a garden or barn, we can bring in help and hire tables and linen. See small weddings for what that looks like.
What you get
- Courses timed around speeches
- Every dietary need at the same table
- A cake from Tomos if you would like one
- A second person from ten guests
What it costs
As a dinner party, plus £90 for a second person from ten guests. Celebration cake from £60. Your night works out a dinner for your table, and the price list has the rest.
Questions about celebrations
Can you do a meal for a very elderly guest?
Yes, and we do that often. Softer textures and smaller portions, served at the same time as everybody else.
Can you do it as a surprise?
Yes. Tell us the plot. We have come in through more than one garden gate.
You have the table. We will bring the dinner.
Your guests, your courses and a style: the menu, the cost and when we arrive. Then Beca rings to write the real one with you.
