What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us about it.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, mobile number, email address and postcode, what you are asking for and how you would like it, a date if you give one, and what you write. The form also records the time it was sent and your IP address, used only to block automated submissions. The Your night planner sends your choices in the address of the page and stores nothing.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, write your menu and cook for you (our contract with you, or the steps before one).
- To keep food safety records, including allergy notes (a legal obligation).
- To keep accounting records (a legal obligation).
We do not send marketing unless you have asked for it, which you can stop at any time by replying or telling us. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
Allergies and health
Your allergies or medical diet, and those of your guests, are health data, used only to cook safely with your consent. Please tell your guests that you have told us. Allergy notes are kept for three months after the meal in case of a query, and they are then destroyed.
Who sees it
Beca and Tomos, and anyone working with us on the night. Our card terminal provider, for payments. Our website host, for the form. Our accountant, for the accounts. None of them may use your details for anything else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that lead to nothing are deleted after six months. Your address and any key codes are deleted when the work ends, unless you ask us to keep them. Accounting records are kept for six years because the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@table-for-you.co.uk or asking us in person. We answer within a month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The website sets one cookie, a session identifier, only when you send the form, so that we can stop the same browser sending it twice in thirty seconds. It holds nothing about you and expires when you close the browser. There are no analytics or advertising cookies. The map on the Find us page is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.
