Pressure wash, re-sand, re-point, seal, repair
Cleaning and sealing
Block paving and patios pressure-washed, re-sanded, re-pointed and sealed so they look new and stay that way, plus repairs to sunken areas, loose blocks and failed edges on drives we did and drives we did not.

A block paving drive is a thirty-year surface if someone cleans and re-sands it every few years. It is a ten-year surface if nobody does.
We pressure-wash with a rotary surface cleaner that does not blast the sand out of the joints the way a lance does, treat moss and algae, let it dry, brush in fresh kiln-dried sand or a resin jointing compound, and seal with a breathable sealer that locks the sand and sheds the oil stains. Patios get the same, with re-pointing where the mortar has gone.
Repairs: a sunken area where a service trench settled, a loose edge, a block broken by a skip lorry, a patch where a tree root has lifted things. We lift, re-base, re-lay and re-sand, matching the blocks from stock or reclaimed, and the repair carries the same guarantee as a new drive.

Questions about cleaning & sealing
How often should block paving be sealed?
Every three to five years, after a clean and re-sand. Sealing on top of dirt or without re-sanding is a waste of money and we will not do it.
Get it measured.
Nia visits, measures, works out the drainage and draws it. The price per square metre arrives within two days with the base, the edging, the drains and the skips in it.
