Block pavingBridgend
A 68 square metre drive for a detached house in Broadlands. Charcoal 60 mm blocks in herringbone, a silver border and soldier course, a linear channel at the garage to a 1,500-litre soakaway. Five days.
Block pavingPencoed
A 1970s concrete drive, cracked and sunk where the car sat. Broken out, 150 mm sub-base, brindle blocks with a charcoal border, channel drain. The before is from the quote visit. Four days.
Resin boundPorthcawl
A seafront semi where the owners wanted a seamless surface and no joints for the sand to blow into. New tarmac base, golden blend, aluminium edging, permeable so no soakaway. Three days plus curing.
TarmacPyle
A 40-metre sloping drive to a bungalow that a motorhome uses. Full base, two-layer hot tarmac, granite sett edges, gullies at the bottom. Two days.
PatioBridgend
A sloping back garden made level with a sleeper retaining wall and steps, then a 32 square metre Indian sandstone patio with a circle feature, falling to a channel at the lawn. Six days.
CleaningMaesteg
A drive we laid in 2015, never cleaned. Rotary washed, treated, resin-jointed and sealed. The owners thought it needed replacing; it needed £380.
